What do Apples and Oranges have to do with Wills/Trusts? Well, not much. But this is sure to be an interesting read, right?
We’ve all been there. We have all been tricked a time or two. Two weeks ago, I was at the supermarket. I saw the shiniest, most scrumptious looking apple. This was no ordinary apple, it was like food art. A moment later, I was reaching up high (I am a little short so it may have involved a small hop) to grab that apple and put in my cart. The apple did not disappoint.
After my amazing apple experience (are you craving an apple yet?), I decided to order a couple more through my online grocery delivery app. It was easy. I searched “Golden Delicious Apple.” I clicked on the button and added 2 to my cart. Two hours later, the apples were sitting on my doorstep (along with the rest of my groceries). This is where it all went downhill. After putting away my groceries, I took out an apple, bit down, and promptly spit it out. This was not a delicious apple.
So, what does this have to do with Wills and Trusts? The lesson: doing things “online” doesn’t always work out great, even though it seems easy (at the time…). What does this have to do with Oranges? Nothing (but I am writing this on April Fools’ Day, so it seems fitting).
