We love giving back at Harris Law & Co. We wanted to do something fun for the children at the Volunteers of America. We reached out and found out the kids needed something sweet. So, we donated five dozen cookies from Eileen’s Colossal Cookies in Sioux Falls to make their next snack extra delicious. Of course, the cookies turned out amazing (seriously if you haven’t been, go)! The VOA made it easy to provide even the smallest impact. Yes, the holidays are a great time to give back. But what about the rest of the year? It gets us thinking. We want to continue to raise awareness for non-profits that have heart.
Have you heard about the KCC and the STARS program with Volunteers of America? These programs are developed to provide afterschool and academic support, character building, and help ensure the well-being to children in our community. The programs also foster self-confidence, academic readiness, social and emotional development as well as cultural awareness. Talk about heart.
The VOA professional staff work hard to create an environment where students achieve their full potential. We are proud to call Sioux Falls home. We are proud to be part of such a giving community and urge you to also give back.
